The genesis of San Miguel de Allende as a world tourist product
Keywords:
evolution, history, tourism, OriginAbstract
The social studies that revolve around the development and tourist evolution of San Miguel de Allende mostly have two characteristics, they are written by foreign people and are approached from other perspectives other than the social phenomenon called tourism; architecture, cinema, urbanism, geography and environment, among others.
Regarding this literary vacuum, this research has as its main objective to document the birth and evolution of tourism in San Miguel de Allende municipality of the state of Guanajuato, from the reconstruction of key moments and identification of local characters driving the activity. To do this, the research presents a non-experimental, transversal design. The above derived from the fact that there is no manipulation of the variables, it only focuses on the collection of information through interviews and literary review to carry out the historical reconstruction.
