Gastronomic tourism: an approach to Motril, Granada (Spain)

Tourism is one of the most important economic engines in Spain and one of the most demanded activities by the population
The attractiveness of tourism does not cease to expand its field of vision by reaching the gastronomic world. Area that includes to a large extent the lifestyle of the area as its customs, traditions and rhythms of life
Although it may be thought that Gastronomy is only a need for food, it can reveal experiences at a sensitive level, as well as knowledge about the area and the environment (culture, lifestyle, personality, etc.) In addition, in gastronomic tourism we will find a great link between tourism that takes care of the environment and the population and tourism.
This can make it more difficult for tourists to recognize the value of the gastronomic experience since it is not as visible as spending a week on the beach with a photo with the Mediterranean in the background, but this may be due to the fact that it is a new profile not because it does not offer a sufficiently satisfactory experience.
This work aims to take advantage of this opportunity and study this connection since, as it is being pointed out, it can be very beneficial for the area, and we are in a heyday in which the new character can also be a plus.
