Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

GENERAL GUIDE FOR AUTHORS

 

1. Sending originals and books for reviews

 

The originals will be sent electronically through the magazine's ojs system

 

Bibliographic references will be in APA format

 

The articles will have a summary in Spanish and English.

 

The authors will have the ORCID number

 

The postulated articles will have at least 4 keywords and less than 6 and in two languages (Spanish and English)

2. Proofreading

 

Each author will receive a single proof of correction that will commit to correct within 15 days from the date of receipt.

 

EDITORIAL PROCESS

 

1. Reception of articles.

 

Acknowledgement of receipt of the work will be given via email, which will be communicated in the shortest possible period. In this phase, a first editorial evaluation will be carried out in which we will evaluate: a) adequacy to the thematic content and interest of the work according to the editorial criteria of the journal, and b) compliance with the formal format of the requirements required by editorial decision. The receipt of the document does not guarantee its acceptance. In this first stage and before entering a second phase (peer review), we will contact the author if the article has been accepted, rejected or needs some corrections.
