Desarrollo de un marco sostenible para la economía colaborativa del turismo en Egipto: Proponiendo un modelo de 8 pilares a través de un estudio Delphi

La economía de intercambio turístico (TSE) presenta oportunidades y desafíos transformadores para el desarrollo del turismo sostenible en todo el mundo (Connolly, 2021; Zetzsche et al., 2017). En Egipto, donde el turismo contribuye significativamente a la economía, las plataformas de TSE han crecido rápidamente, pero siguen siendo en gran medida no reguladas, lo que plantea preocupaciones sobre las operaciones informales, la protección del consumidor, la equidad social y la sostenibilidad social y ambiental (Fouad, 2021; Haza & Abdelkafy, 2017; Ibrahim et al., 2022; Wael & Abdelhaleem, 2023). Este documento informa sobre un estudio exhaustivo de métodos mixtos que emplea una técnica Delphi de tres rondas con expertos del mundo académico, el gobierno, las organizaciones internacionales y profesionales de la industria tradicional para explorar el estado y el futuro del TSE egipcio. El estudio identifica brechas regulatorias críticas, la fragmentación de las partes interesadas y los riesgos de sostenibilidad, junto con el potencial del sector para la inclusión económica y la innovación alineado con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS). Los hallazgos informan un marco de modelo de 8 pilares validado por expertos destinado a guiar la formalización, regulación, crecimiento equilibrado y sostenible del sector TSE en Egipto. Este marco abarca la claridad regulatoria, la colaboración con las partes interesadas, el desarrollo de capacidades, el avance tecnológico, la seguridad y la evaluación continua, ofreciendo vías prácticas para equilibrar la innovación con la equidad y la sostenibilidad en el panorama turístico en evolución.
